Florida Printer PostcardMania Takes a Stand for Democracy, Names New Digital Press “Printy McPrintface”

When Britain’s Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) invited the Internet public to name its new polar research vessel, voters overwhelmingly supported a former BBC radio host’s humble submission: Boaty McBoatface.
Although Boaty McBoatface received four times more votes than the second most-popular submission, RRS Poppy-Mai, the U.K. Science Minister was having none of it. The NERC eventually opted for a more “suitable” name, RRS Sir David Attenborough.

PostcardMania’s AccurioJet KM-1 (one of just five in the world) will henceforth be known as Printy McPrintface.
