Flow Control Magazine Wins Two 2014 Azbee Awards
Birmingham, Ala. (PRWEB) November 06, 2014 -- Flow Control magazine, a leading trade journal for industrial fluid handling professionals, was honored with two “Gold” awards in the 2014 Azbee Awards competition, presented by the American Society of Business Publication Editors.
The awards specifically recognize Flow Control’s November 2013 OEM/System Integrator special supplement and its June 2013 “If Valves Could Talk” cover design.
Launched in 2013, the OEM/System Integrator focuses on solutions and applications from the perspective of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and System Integrators. The latest OEM/System Integrator special supplement appears in the November 2014 edition of Flow Control magazine, and it is scheduled to run three times in 2015.

In addition to editorial excellence, Flow Control is regularly honored for its creative publication design. The winning June 2013 cover, designed by Flow Control Art Director Julie Flynn, depicts a black and white profile of an industrial plant setting. The valve system in the forefront of the photo was accentuated with a pop of lime-green color to illustrate the cover concept, “If Valves Could Talk.”

In addition to the Azbee awards, Flow Control was honored in 2014 with an APEX “Award of Excellence” for “Best Blog Series,” for a collection of blog posts written by Migliore from Flow Control’s 2013 Pump Guy Seminar training event program.
