Fluoride Action North Texas Urges the Dallas City Council to Halt Fluoridation Due to Landmark 12 Year Fluoride Study Citing IQ Concerns
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) October 02, 2017 -- Fluoride Action North Texas founder, Regina Imburgia is encouraging people to speak to the Dallas City Council, Ms. Imburgia says, "On Wednesday October 11th, we will go and speak to Mayor Rawlings and the Dallas City Council during the Open Microphone portions of the Council Meeting. Prior to the 11th we are encouraging everyone to call Dallas Council-member and Chair of the Quality of Life and Environment Committee, Sandy Greyson 214-670-4067 informing her about the Landmark 12 year Fluoridation Study that was just published September 19, 2017." Ms. Imburgia explaines, "The credibility of this study is beyond reproach. This multi-million dollar study was subsidized by the U.S. National Institute of Health. The results of the first ever US government funded study of fluoride and IQ revealed a statistically significant association between fluoride exposure in women during pregnancy and a lowering of IQ in their children. Dr. Paul Connett, PhD, chemistry and toxicology, in a video response (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSo32UTXiLQ) states, “this finding is a game-changer in the fluoridation debate. How could any rational person put the saving of a very modest amount of tooth decay over the mental development of our children?”
Regina adds, "The Newsweek article (http://www.newsweek.com/childrens-iq-could-be-lowered-drinking-tap-water-while-pregnant-667660) by Dana Dovey was published on 9/19/17. Dovey highlights this new IQ study. Doug Main's article (http://www.newsweek.com/fluoridation-may-not-prevent-cavities-huge-study-shows-348251) from 2015 emphasizes the fact ingesting more fluoride does not significantly decrease tooth decay. It is imperative the fifteen members of the Dallas City Council hear about the information exposed in these articles before they vote".
Regina continues, "CM Greyson has the responsibility to the public and to the full council to review this new study along with other heath concerns from ingesting fluoridated water. Ms Greyson has the authority to make a recommendation to halt the Fluoridation program until conclusive proof is provided that adding Hydrofliorosilicic Acid to the Dallas water to raise the fluoride level is safe and effective for everyone."
Regina believes, "When the Council understands that the harm of increased fluoride ingestion is directly due to their vote to purchase the fluoride raising Hydrofluorosilicic acid, they will not want that on their conscience, and they will vote no to the allocation".
