Flight Itinerary
Upon arrival guests will be greeted, asked to read Medical and Safety notes and complete the relevant forms. They will then meet their friendly and experienced instructor, before receiving a briefing at the aircraft and climbing in ready for take-off.
Guests will spend approximately 30 minutes in a SF25c Falke. This is a unique aircraft blending the qualities of an engine-powered plane and a glider. Passengers will take to the stunning views of the Warwickshire countryside as they soar through the air. Throughout the flight the engine will be on and this will be a traditional flying experience. However guests may enjoy a glide flight if they wish. After their experience they will be emailed a commemorative certificate.
This aircraft is equipped with an 80 horse power Limbach engine, which will climb at over 600 feet per minute. Cruise is an easy 75 to 80 knots, with a range in excess of 500 nautical miles. Cockpit comfort is important, and passengers will have plenty of space inside the glider. This aircraft also boasts an integral GPS (Global Positioning System), equipped with VOR/DME ("Very-high-frequency Omnidirectional Range" and "Distance Measuring Equipment") to allow practise of proper radio navigation techniques. To enable entry to most UK and foreign airspace the glider also has a Mode S Transponder including Directional Giro's, an Attitude Indicator and guests will see that this really is a professional flying experience.
