In the video, food processors can see how easily the BSX800 Compact Walk Through Boot Scrubber Unit helps reduce cross-contamination from footwear. The BSX800 is a wet, walk through, dual boot scrubber. Similar to the other boot scrubbers in the BSX series, the user activates the system by stepping onto the platform. Diluted cleaning solution is sprayed onto rotating brushes and transferred onto the boots from a stainless steel venturi dilution valve and metering tip to provide the desired concentration.
Alpet® No-Rinse Quat Sanitizer is recommended with the BSX800 to help effectively clean footwear prior to sanitizing. Sanitization cannot occur until the footwear is cleaned. The BSX800 uses two rotating disk brushes to clean the sides and sole of the boot, while the BSX800-V uses 3 vertical rotating brushes and one horizontal sole brush. Both units have a small footprint and are ideal for tight spaces and medium traffic applications. The unit is built from 304 stainless steel and features an open and sanitary design eliminating hollow spaces, where pathogens commonly can hide.
