Footage.net Signs on as FOCAL International Awards Bronze Sponsor

Producers, filmmakers and other creative professionals who have used library footage in a documentary, feature film or any other form of production over the last year are encouraged to submit their work for consideration. All awards will be presented the evening of May 21, 2015 at a glittering award ceremony at the Lancaster London Hotel. Entries in all 16 categories are due by December 1, 2014 (late entries will be considered up until December 12, 2014).

The final deadline for submissions is now just one week away. Anyone wishing to be considered for an award in any of the 16 FOCAL International Awards categories must get their submissions in by December 1, 2014 but late entries will be considered up until December 12, 2014.
All awards will be presented the evening of the May 21, 2015 at a glittering award ceremony at the Lancaster London Hotel. The qualifying period is productions premiered in 2014 and entry is via the FOCAL website http://www.focalint.org/focal-international-awards/2015/the-focal-international-awards-2015.
In addition to awards recognizing achievement in a wide variety of production categories, awards for restoration of the world’s film and video archive heritage are also up for grabs, as are commendations for the skilled researchers, archivists, libraries and as always a Lifetime Achievement Award.
