Football Athletic Trainer Shares Hydrotherapy Toolkit Secrets in Upcoming Webinar
Middletown, PA (PRWEB) October 11, 2017 -- An advanced aquatic pool may be the focal point of any hydrotherapy facility, but it’s only as useful as the creativity of the aquatic therapy professionals using it. This is especially true in the world of sports rehabilitation and cross-training, where young and seasoned athletes appreciate constant variation to stay motivated, improve overall functionality and enjoy better outcomes. Consequently, every physical therapist or athletic trainer needs to have his or her own aquatics toolkit on hand.
On October 12, 2017, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. E.D.T., Collin Francis, Assistant Football Athletic Trainer at Indiana University, will share the tools he uses during “The Hydrotherapy Toolkit: An Equipment Guide to Elevate Rehab.” This one-hour webinar is specifically designed to help participants explore the aids and solutions that boost participation and results.
During the live event, Francis will talk about his own philosophy of being creative during aquatic therapy sessions for the benefit of his athletes. From his pool’s underwater treadmill and resistance jets, to float belts and water weights, he will explore ways to make workouts more attractive and unique for everyone involved.
Attendees of “The Hydrotherapy Toolkit: An Equipment Guide to Elevate Rehab” can expect to learn a variety of insights from Francis, including how to incorporate music into exercise and rehab protocols. Throughout the webinar, sport-specific training methodologies will be illustrated with images and videos.
Although the event is free to join, pre-registration is required. Interested participants may visit the HydroWorx website to quickly sign up for the event.
