Forbes Special 100th Anniversary Issue
NEW YORK, Oct. 2, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- In celebration of Forbes' 100th anniversary, Forbes magazine unveiled today its special centennial issue, which highlights essays, lessons and ideas for the next 100 years from the world's 100 Greatest Living Business Minds(p. 115). The special issue cover is the first-ever artificial intelligence (A.I.) magazine cover that allows readers to interact with the cover subject, Warren Buffett. Buffett is featured holding the only remaining whole copy of the first issue of Forbes magazine from 1917.
In developing the list of the world's 100 Greatest Living Business Minds, Forbes sought people who have either created something with a lasting impact on the world or innovated in a way that transcends their given field. The list speaks to a century of entrepreneurial capitalism compiling the doers who have created, disrupted and innovated on a collectively historic scale. All honorees were required to actively participate in the project – all essays are original, capturing wisdom from the list-makers themselves.

The special centennial Forbes magazine issue showcases portraits by renowned photographer Martin Schoeller. Schoeller travelled the globe to 12 different countries and 18 different cities to capture unparalleled portraits of the world's 100 Greatest Living Business Minds.

Forbes' special centennial issue features Warren Buffett on the first-ever magazine cover that comes to life via artificial intelligence (A.I.). The A.I. functions like Siri. Ask Buffett a question and he will answer questions about business, finance or his personal journey, from "What's your favorite investment?" and "What's the best advice you've ever been given?" to "What's your favorite book?" and "Who do you consider your mentor?" The platform includes more than 30 unique responses from Buffett, which are triggered based on the reader's questions.

Readers will then have to take a photograph of Forbes' September 19th special centennial magazine cover, prompting a virtual hologram of Buffett to emerge from the cover. Buffett provides instructions on how to use your smartphone mic to ask him questions. The A.I. experience is compatible with iPhones and Android smartphones/mobile devices on Safari & Chrome respectively.
Forbes partnered with Mumbai-based Fluid AI to develop the A.I. platform. The founders of Fluid AI, Abhinav and Raghav Aggarwal, were featured on the June 2017 cover of Forbes India and appeared on the 2017 Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 list.
