Foresight Group Launches Hosting and Managed Services Offering
Jersey City, NJ (PRWEB) August 16, 2013 -- In keeping with Foresight’s history of implementing cutting-edge Pharmacovigilance Solutions and its reputation as the largest provider of Argus Safety solutions worldwide, the company recently announced the launch of its Hosting and Managed Services offering: Oracle Argus Safety-Powered by Foresight. Foresight’s efforts to expand its presence in the hosting business began with the launch of PV Monitor, a compliance monitoring solution. After the success of that venture, the company decided to push forward, hiring Wade Weinzetl as a partner to oversee this new service line.

This service is served from fully validated data centers in the United States and Switzerland. This also allows Foresight to customize a client’s instances of Argus to fit budgetary, financial and operational needs. The product includes:
• Secure GxP environment including 64-bit databases, storage arrays, web server farm and Citrix servers, firewalls, and all operational and network components
• Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) on all GxP components
• Foresight’s proven management policies and SOPs, including backup and disaster recovery
• Hosting of Oracle Argus Safety with Oracle 11g as its underlying database, along with Argus Insight/Analytics
• Optional connectivity to E2B gateways and third-party EDC systems
Foresight also pays heed to budgetary needs by offering two different managed services options. In the full version, Foresight will provide all configuration and validation work, infrastructure management, and application support. In our “Light” offering, the client will provide 1st and 2nd Level application support and perform most configuration work, with the exception of systems. Foresight will still oversee all validation and infrastructure management.
