Former AZ Assistant AG Kirstin Story Rejoins Lewis Roca Rothgerber
PHOENIX, Ariz. (PRWEB) December 02, 2015 -- Kirstin A. Story has rejoined Lewis Roca Rothgerber LLP as Of Counsel focusing on Labor and Employment law in its Litigation practice group. Story returns to the firm after three years as an Assistant Attorney General in the Employment Law Section of the Arizona Attorney General’s office.

Story was with Lewis Roca Rothgerber from 2007 to 2013 before joining the Office of the Attorney General for the State of Arizona. While with the Arizona AG’s office, she advised agencies and courts on compliance with state and federal employment laws as well as the Arizona and United States Constitutions, employee discipline, merit rules, policies, and procedures.
Story also represented agencies and courts before merit system boards, administrative agencies, and in state and federal courts in appeals from disciplinary actions and claims brought pursuant to state and federal law, including the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family Medical, Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Arizona Occupational Safety and Health Act, and whistleblower protection statutes.
Prior to her term at the Attorney General’s office, Story represented employers in claims pursuant to Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and state and federal wage and hour laws while with Lewis Roca Rothgerber. Her prior experience also included serving as a clerk for the Honorable Donn G. Kessler at the Arizona Court of Appeals.
