Former Business Owner, Educator Opens The Growth Coach of Aurora

Comandari, who has a B.A. in organizational development and is completing his Master of Science in organizational leadership at Regis University, was born in El Salvador to Palestinian and Sicilian parents. He grew up in the family businesses of running a grocery store and a video game store. Comandari later owned three companies specializing in parking lot striping, janitorial and snow removal before becoming a teacher and education administrator. He said that experience in business – and his family’s early struggles in America – will help make him a great coach.
“As an immigrant to this country, I am empathetic to people in strife. We came from a very wealthy family, but came to America with nothing … My mother taught us through example to do whatever it takes to push ahead in life. I try to incorporate this blue-collar, scrappy, fighter mentality to everything I do. I believe it takes this attitude to be an effective Growth Coach. My clients should be assured of my willingness to ‘get in the trenches’ with them,” Comandari said.
Anthony Pfeiffer, who built a youth scouting and leadership program with Comandari, says it’s his friend’s strength and compassion that will make him a great Growth Coach.
