Former Global Weather Corp., Executive joins RONN Motor Group, Inc. as Chief Technology Officer
Scottsdale, Arizona (PRWEB) October 02, 2017 -- RONN Motor Group, Inc. a world leader in hydrogen technology and developer of all electric-hydrogen fuel-cell, zero-emission long-range transportation platforms, announced that it has named James (Jim) Maury as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
As CTO of RONN Motor Group, Maury will drive strategic cross platform initiatives to maximize global manufacturing efficiencies and develop the software service eco-system that will directly connect vehicles to customers and to RONN Motor Group’s service partners.
Maury brings 30 years of experience developing advanced software-centric solutions across multiple industries and functional domains. Maury’s background centers around startup technology companies with disruptive software applications and IoT infrastructure that automates the decision support work process.

Before joining RONN Motor Group, Maury served as the Chief Resource Officer and Vice President of Operations at Global Weather Corp., where he spent over six years' developing methods with some of the best data science minds at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) to model connected car data services. This encompassed vehicle sensors to Controller Area Network Bus (CAN Bus) data that can be used to correct pavement forecast conditions down to half kilometer resolution. Maury was also instrumental in delivering the Mobile Weather Application to Yahoo, which is still in use today by over 20M users on IOS and Android devices.
Prior to Global Weather, Maury spent over seven years' in wireless telecommunications, deploying one of the first mobile IMAP messaging services at KDDI, Japan, to advanced Location-Based Services with AT&T and Sprint.
Maury earned a BA in Economics from California State University, Long Beach.
