A digital commerce luminary, Archer joins Elastic Path from IBM, where he was Director of Strategy and Offering Management for WebSphere Commerce. In this role, he was instrumental in reinvigorating the organization’s 22-year-old commerce platform, WebSphere Commerce, and introduced a new SaaS solution with artificial intelligence capabilities.
Archer will lead Elastic Path’s market strategy to help more enterprises seamlessly bring commerce directly into any interaction. “Elastic Path delivers the future of commerce today, by enabling companies to connect with their customers and transact well beyond the web shop era or standard web store,” Archer said. “As someone who is passionate about digital commerce, I’m excited to be part of the company moving the entire industry forward.”
