Former ONC Deputy Director, Jacob Reider MD, Joins Uniphy Health National Board of Advisors
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) July 14, 2015 -- Uniphy Health today announced that Jacob Reider has been named to Uniphy Health’s National Board of Advisors. Dr. Reider is former Deputy National Coordinator and Chief Medical Officer of the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), an operating division of the United States Department of Health and Human Services.
Dr. Reider is a physician and expert in health information technology policy, innovation and strategy. Prior to his role at ONC, Dr. Reider was CMIO of Allscripts, Medical Director of Clinical Systems at CapitalCare Medical Group and Associate Dean of Biomedical Informatics at Albany Medical College. Reider currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Kyron, a health analytics startup in Palo Alto, CA. Throughout his career, Dr. Reider has been an advocate for enhanced usability and safety of clinical tools and systems, and the use of technology in improving the quality, efficiency, and cost of health care.
Dr. Reider complements an esteemed group of Uniphy Health Advisory Board members that are shaping the firm.
