Former Senior Advisor to President Barack Obama Coming to Toronto
Toronto, Ontario (PRWEB) September 27, 2013 -- The Reena Foundation is hosting their very first Exceptional Abilities Series, which will feature prominent speakers who have established successful careers in various fields. Their first speaker for this series is David Axelrod, the former senior advisor to President Barack Obama.
Axelrod was a top political advisor to President Bill Clinton as well as campaign advisor to President Barack Obama during Obama's successful run for President in 2008. Following Obama's election, Axelrod was appointed as Senior Advisor to the President. Axelrod left the White House position in early 2011 and became the Senior Strategist for Obama's successful re-election campaign in 2012.
Axelrod now serves as the Director of the Institute of Politics at the University of Chicago and is a political analyst for NBC News and MSNBC. Earlier this year he was inducted into the American Association of Political Consultants’ Hall of Fame.
“If you’re looking to help a worthy cause and see an extraordinary man talk about the issues that America is facing today, then this is a must attend event,” said Event Co-ordinator Lynda Roth. “This keynote address will no doubt shed some important insights on Canada’s neighbour and chief trading partner.”
The night will feature Axelrod’s keynote presentation and a Q&A session where attendees may ask questions of David Axelrod.
