Formetco Sports Unveils Largest High School Sports and Entertainment Video Display in the U.S.
Atlanta GA (PRWEB) August 26, 2015 -- With its unveiling in August 2015, the Norcross High School sports scoreboard and video display screen took the fan and student experience to new heights. The Formetco Sports screen expands the use of a typical football facility into a multi-venue facility that benefits the students, school and community.
The largest high school video display and its features
The new LED screen measures 29’5” by 51’5” and offers a sharp 1,513 square feet display. The near HD display features a high resolution screen with 518,400 pixels and over 1.5 million LED’s. The system is controlled by a state-of-the-art control system designed specifically for multi-function sports and event facilities. This particular LED screen project features four live video cameras providing various unique viewing angles for the video replay technology.
The new value proposition for educational facilities

The system is designed for an operations crew of up to 12 students. This makes it easier to manage the otherwise complex situation of multiple inbound video feeds, advertising display, and game statistics updates. Inversely, the design flexibility enables simple events to be managed via wireless control by a single operator with an iPad. Regardless of the number of operators, the experience remains top notch.
