Formstack Earns Section 508 Certification for Accessibility of its Form-Building App

Internet users with visual or hearing impairments can now complete web forms created through the Formstack application. The company is now the first third-party online form builder that is 508 compliant and can produce a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT).
Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 requires federal agencies to provide equal accessibility to electronic and information technology for people with disabilities. 508 compliance is a requirement for all federal-funded institutions, including public higher education, public K-12 education, nonprofit organizations and government offices. In addition, many large companies require 508 compliant forms for internal data capture.
