Conness, 36, and Costa, 33, lead Global Wealth Management, an East Oakland Park Boulevard firm that conservatively invests primarily for baby boomers who are near retirement or already there. Both Conness and Costa were born and grew up in Fort Lauderdale, and both attended Cardinal Gibbons High School. Conness received a football scholarship to the University of Findlay in Ohio and later earned a business degree from Florida Atlantic University. Costa graduated from Florida State University with a degree in finance.
