Fountain Valley Fitness Center, Fit Body Boot Camp, Celebrates Successful Grand Opening Event with All Proceeds Going to Benefit Local Charity
Fountain Valley, CA (PRWEB) September 11, 2013 -- The newest Fountain Valley fitness center, Fit Body Boot Camp, has just celebrated a successful Grand Opening charity event held on Saturday, September the 7th.
Starting at noon and continuing until a little after 3pm, Fit Body Boot Camp Fountain Valley’s charity event had over 75 people in attendance vying for a chance to win one of the big ticket prizes up for grabs like an iHome dock and an iPod Touch.
Popular local business came out to show their support and donated prizes for giveaways as well as food for the event. These businesses include Kech Cafe, Sensitive Sweets, Kerotstena, Lorna Jane, Au Lac, Stonefire Grill, Starbuck's, Coffeebean, Elle Salon, Earth Energy Health, Greenleaf Cafe, The Living Temple, and Double Delicious Thai. DJ Ray Soto with Radio Frequency was also there to supply music for the event.
Raising over $250 as well as collecting donation items such as toys and clothing for Colette’s Children’s Home, a local charity whose mission is to provide supplies and services to homeless women and children, Fountain Valley Fit Body Boot Camp’s Grand Opening was deemed a success.
Director of Colette’s Children’s Home expresses their gratitude for the donation, "Fit Body Boot Camp Fountain Valley’s commitment to helping homelessness in our community is sincerely appreciated. With the help of donations from supporters such as you, we will continue to see improvements in lives of the homeless women and children we serve."
Owners of the new Fountain Valley gym, Sam and Zenia Joyner say they are thrilled with the outcome of the event, and even more thrilled to be supporting such an important cause.
They explain, “We were so happy with the turnout, and that members were able to show their friends and family what they are doing with us to reach their fitness goals. We were happy to meet them as well. This was such a fun family and community event and hope to bring more awareness to the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. Also, being able to help Colette's Children's Home with donations from our attendees as well. Giving back to our community is what we are all about."
Fountain Valley local and boot camp member, Pili Loera, says of the Grand Opening, “It was a great Grand Opening. I had fun especially watching Sam do the fitness challenge ‘Man Makers’! Congratulations to Sam and Zenia. You guys are great trainers! I love going to boot camp!”
