Four Bedford Commons OB-GYN P.A. Practitioners Named "Top Doctors 2015" by New Hampshire Magazine
Bedford, NH (PRWEB) March 25, 2015 -- In recognition of the practice’s success in providing uncommon care for women for more than 30 years, four physicians at Bedford Commons OB-GYN were recognized across the gynecology-obstetrics spectrum as “Top Doctors” by New Hampshire Magazine in their 2015 ranking.
The women-centric practice is no newcomer to this elite peer ranking. This marks the second time that Dr. Danielle Albushies has been honored in the publication; her first inclusion was as a top doctor in the Obstetrics category in 2011.
• Jennifer Weidner, M.D., F.A.C.O.G. – Gynecological Surgery
Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Weidner received her undergraduate degree from Middlebury College and her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the college’s residency program involving the Hartford Hospital, John Dempsey Hospital, and New Britain General Hospital. Dr. Weidner’s clinical areas of interest include adolescent gynecology and advanced laparoscopic surgery.
• Danielle Albushies, M.D., F.A.C.O.G. – Gynecology - Leading Physician
A graduate of Dartmouth Medical School who completed her internship and residency at the University of Rochester School of Medicine, Strong Memorial Hospital in New York, Dr. Albushies is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Her many areas of specialized clinical interest include adolescent gynecology, infertility, menopause, fitness and nutrition.
• Kenneth Herr, M.D., F.A.C.O.G. – Maternal Fetal Medicine – Leading Physician
Awarded an undergraduate degree cum laude from Franklin and Marshall College and a medical degree from Temple University, Dr. Herr completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Rochester. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member of numerous professional associations including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Herr also serves as Director of the practice’s in-office Ultrasound Department.
• Lara Hanlon, M.D., F.A.C.O.G. – Obstetrics
A graduate of Cornell University, Dr. Hanlon received her medical degree from Geisel (previously Dartmouth) Medical School and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, her clinical areas of interest include high-risk obstetrics, adolescent gynecology, laparoscopic surgery, infertility and ultrasound.
To select candidates for their “Top Doctor” ranking, New Hampshire Magazine sends a survey to each doctor on the New Hampshire Board of Medicine’s list of physicians licensed to practice in the state, asking them to nominate specialists they would most likely recommend to family and friends. After culling down the hundreds of physicians statewide nominated, biographical information is fact-checked for those who receive the greatest number of recommendations. The “best of the best” in 49 specialties are then featured in the magazine’s list.
