Fovean Announces Name Change to Sonar Medical, Inc.
Saratoga, CA (PRWEB) July 29, 2013 -- Fovean Inc. is pleased to announce our new name: Sonar Medical Inc.. This change is part of a larger rebranding effort to emphasize our commitment to the application of our sound diagnostic technology in dental and medical markets.
Sonar Medical will first focus on a diagnostic device to help detect dental problems for clinics and dental professionals in poor and rural areas who do not have access to X-ray equipment or who do not wish their patients to be exposed to X-ray radiation. Limited access to dental health care can have physical and psychological consequences for individuals in addition to economic costs to society. The consequences of inadequate access to oral health care in rural communities tend to be long-term. Without access to dental services, residents defer curative services and may delay diagnosis of oral health problems, preventative measures and improvements to oral hygiene habits.
