Fox Web Creations Releases New KKFI 90.1 Website

A savvy and simplified new web design took shape after KKFI 90.1 listeners demanded better ways to stay informed while on the go. Visitors to the new website will be invited to “Listen Now,” an improved option that allows listeners to stream live and recorded programs directly from a web browser without opening a media player. The new feature also supports mobile browsers, allowing busy listeners to easily access radio anytime, from anywhere. Listenership on mobile devices has doubled in the past year, and will continue to grow with improved access through “Listen Now.”
Those who aren’t able to “Listen Now” can listen later. With the addition of podcasts on the website, catching up on past public affairs and arts programs is simple and convenient. Podcasts are archived on the website and available for download to an iPod or MP3 player.
Same local community radio, new online style. Visitors to the new website will also notice a sleek navigation bar, updated drop-down menus, and layout changes to the “Program Episode” page and the “Program” page. An updated “Featured Episodes” section is prominently displayed on the homepage above the fold, a design element aimed to minimize scrolling and maximize content.
