Franklin County Visitors Bureau Announces the Arrival of Flat Ben
(PRWEB) February 20, 2015 -- Heard of Flat Stanley? Now get ready for Flat Ben!
The Franklin County Visitors Bureau announces the arrival of Flat Ben, a paper companion resembling the historic figure Benjamin Franklin.
Modeled after Flat Stanley, a book character from the early 60s that travels around and documents his exploits, Flat Ben is here and looking to explore Franklin County and he needs help.
Flat Ben loves Franklin County, the county named after him, and as the weather starts getting nicer, he is ready to get out and explore. He doesn’t want to stay cooped up in the Franklin County Visitors Bureau office, he wants to get out and get his picture taken with as many places as possible.
Take a picture of Ben visiting historic buildings, take a video of him trying a new place to eat or maybe even trying on a new outfit. Make sure to share what Ben is up to with the Franklin County Visitors Bureau on Facebook, Twitter and our Pinterest pages so we can share his adventures and see what he’s up to.
But where should he go? What should he see? How will he get there? He needs help to find out the hidden nooks and crannies of Franklin County to get a close look at what makes the county a wonderful place to explore.
Later in April, during Spring into History on April 18, visitors can take pictures of their own cut and colored Ben’s with historical landmarks and send them to the visitors bureau’s social media pages and be entered to win Franklin County goodies. More details will be released at a later date.
