Virginia Beach, VA (PRWEB) April 24, 2014 -- Thomas Johnston, Chief Development Officer for The Franklin Johnston Group, along with Steve Cooper, Senior Vice President of Development, introduce members of the development team. Director of Design and Construction, Murray Kirk, and Debit and Equity Manager, Rhonda Mixer, both original members of the company since its formation last year. Wendell Franklin, CEO and Taylor Franklin, COO, remain active and critical members of the development group.
Kirk has more than 30 years experience in design and project management in the U.S. and abroad. He has been responsible for planning and developing more than 2,600 market rate and affordable apartment residences throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. At FJG he directs all phases of construction, design, site preparation, compliance with governmental regulations and codes and financial management for all new projects. Kirk is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of State University of New York with a degree in Architectural Technology.
Rhonda Mixer evaluates the feasibility of new developments and acquisitions and manages the due diligence process during pre-development phases of new projects. She is also responsible for the processing and closing of debt and equity associated with the development and acquisition of apartment assets. Mixer has a Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University.
