Frazier & Deeter Partner Ruth Bartlett Named President of the University of Georgia Alumni Association
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) July 09, 2015 -- Ruth Bartlett (BBA '76), Audit Partner at Frazier & Deeter, has been chosen as the President of the University of Georgia Alumni Association (“The UGA Alumni Association”). On July 1, 2015 Bartlett will begin serving a two-year term. As part of her responsibilities, Bartlett will also join the boards of the UGA Foundation and the UGA Athletic Association.

Bartlett is the recipient of the Terry College of Business Distinguished Alumni Award and has been an active member of the Terry College Alumni Board, serving as President in 2005. Bartlett has been on the UGA Alumni Association Board since 2008 and recently led the formation of the Hilton Head, SC chapter of the Alumni Association.
As a leading CPA, Bartlett has been in the public accounting profession for over 35 years. Bartlett joined Frazier & Deeter in 1990 where she became the firm’s first female partner and served as the Head of the Firm’s Audit Department for over 15 years. Bartlett, who specializes in the real estate and hospitality industries, continues to play a major role in the firm’s growth.
In addition, Bartlett has served as the first woman president of the Georgia Society of CPAs and the first woman to receive the Society's Meritorious Service Award. Additionally, for over 20 years, she has been on the Board of Trustees of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - GA Chapter.
