FRED Inc. Announces 2014 FRED Scholars(SM) Program for Leaders at Nonprofits and NGOs
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) April 25, 2014 -- FRED Inc., the innovative nonprofit dedicated to improving the quality of leadership in the world, has announced the 2014 FRED Scholars(SM) program featuring scholarships for nonprofit/NGO leaders to attend world-class university executive education and leadership development programs.
“The FRED Scholars(sm) program is key to our mission to elevate leadership,” said Jim Bolt, CEO of FRED Inc. “We are honored to have these highly esteemed universities participate in this unique program. It’s a testament to them and to how important ongoing learning and development is for leaders, especially those at nonprofits and NGOs who often can’t afford to attend such programs,” added Bolt.
The program provides exclusive scholarships to enable honorees, who otherwise lack funding, to attend outstanding university programs alongside global executives and high potential managers from companies across the business spectrum. “FRED Scholars(sm) provides the highest quality executive education and leadership development opportunities for these deserving leaders,” said Bolt.

Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), University of Pretoria, Johannesburg, South Africa
Program Name: Accelerate: Fast-Tracking the Careers of High-Performing Individuals
Program Dates: September 10-12, 2014; September 17-20, 2014; and December 3, 2014
Scholarship Includes: Tuition, Materials, Textbooks, Meals, Refreshments, Experiential Activities, a Strategic and Reflective Breakaway
MIT Sloan School of Management, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA
Program Name: MIT Sloan Executive Certificate
Program Dates: Programs are held in Cambridge, Massachusetts throughout the year.
Scholarship Includes: Registration Fee for four 2-day programs. All four programs must be selected by June 30, 2014 (enrollment deadline) and attended by June 30, 2015 (completion deadline).

Program Name: Meeting the Leadership Challenge
Program Dates: June 18-13, 2014
