Free Bikes 4 Kidz Teams Up with Adventure Advertising to Grow Bicycle Donation Program
Minneapolis, Minn. (PRWEB) September 07, 2016 -- Free Bikes 4 Kidz, a non-profit organization geared toward helping kids ride into a happier, healthier childhood by providing donated bicycles to those most in need, has appointed Adventure Advertising as its agency of record.
Adventure Advertising, which is based in Minneapolis and has broad experience across the cycling industry, will team with Free Bikes 4 Kidz to expand the organization’s highly successful bike donation program, with a focus on raising awareness, increasing total donations and expanding the organization into new markets.
Since its founding in 2008, Free Bikes 4 Kidz has given away more refurbished bikes annually than any other organization, a total of more than 32,000. Working with a network of sponsors and supporters, the organization collects, cleans and refurbishes gently used bikes donated by the public, and then provides them to underserved families. They also provide a free helmet to every child who receives a bike.
“A wide range of research makes the case that keeping kids on bikes not only impacts their health in a positive way, but also improves their psychological wellbeing and performance in school,” said Terry Esau, Founder and Executive Director of FB4K. “Adventure’s experience and knowledge of the cycling industry, as well their passion for our mission, will be a major asset as we bring these benefits to more kids across the country.”
“Free Bikes 4 Kidz has a great brand and a great story,” said Gina Nacey, president of Adventure. “The opportunity to help them bring that story to new people, expand into new markets and, ultimately, put more bikes in the hands of more kids is a true privilege for us.”
Free Bikes 4 Kidz was founded in Minneapolis and has expanded into both Atlanta and Salt Lake City. For more information on the organization, or to inquire about volunteering or donating, please visit http://www.fb4k.org.
