Free People to Open at Edina Galleria in Edina, Minnesota
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) July 24, 2016 -- Lifestyle brand, Free People, will bring its clothing to Edina Galleria, an upscale shopping mall in Edina, MN on July 29th 2016. At 4,864 gross square-feet, Free People is excited to open its second store in Minnesota. This will be the brand’s 123rd store across the United States and Canada.
The store will be designed in the brand’s studio concept. Highlighting the more rugged side of the Free People girl, the space is designed to feel like her personal studio workshop by featuring reclaimed planked wood floors, painted bricks, and white washed bead board walls. Customers will be welcomed through a steel entryway with white washed wood slats. Two backlit ‘Free People’ signs will be featured at the entrance. Inside the store, maple flooring throughout will guide the customer throughout the store. Two skylights will bring natural light into the space, one located at entry and one in the Intimately FP area. A wood ceiling feature that spans the entire length of the front half of the store running over the cashwrap area making the space feel special. Reclaimed white washed bead board, soft maple shrouds, and rosey destroyed plaster walls help complement the studio theme. 7 fitting rooms will be available featuring special coin curtains, adding a feminine touch. 3 POS cashwraps featuring a white washed brick will be available for customers to complete purchases.
Free People’s Edina store will be stocked with a variety of apparel. The store will have a denim shop featuring basic denim styles, shorts, and one pieces. Edina will have a selection of woven top button downs in different fabrications and prints. A selection of dresses will be available from mini, maxi and romper styles. An assortment of pre-fall styles will be available featuring jackets, oversized knits and slouchy soft pants. A large collection of shoes from boots, trend shoes, and a small selection of sandals. Intimately FP, the brand’s intimates line will be available including undie and bra matching sets, robes, sleep shirts and shorts, and lacy bodysuits. In jewelry, many choker options will be available and other accessories will include hair, tech and sunglasses.
The store will have an opening celebration on Friday, July 29th from 5-7pm. The first 30 customers to arrive will receive a free giveaway and light refreshments from Spyhouse coffee will be served. A performance by Anna Eltringham will also take place.
