Freedom Alliance to Assist Military Families During Annual Holiday Campaign
DULLES, Va. (PRWEB) December 12, 2016 -- Freedom Alliance, an organization supporting our nation’s injured service members, is planning to serve more than 500 individuals this year through its Presents for Patriots program. The campaign reaches out to American military heroes who are struggling financially during the holidays. Through donor sponsorships, Freedom Alliance fulfills wish lists, wraps gifts, as well as sends letters of appreciation and encouragement.
Because of long rehabilitations, emotional effects of Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS), as well as treatment schedules related to other combat wounds and service-related injuries, Christmas can be a very difficult time for many in our Armed Forces. Freedom Alliance works to ensure that children of injured heroes wake up to presents under the tree on Christmas morning.
“Our service members and their families have sacrificed so much for our country. Making sure they have wonderful Christmas memories is the least we can do,” said Freedom Alliance President Tom Kilgannon. “This program is another example of the deep appreciation we have for our combat-wounded veterans. Not just around the holidays, but all throughout the year.”
Freedom Alliance is still accepting donations for the Presents for Patriots program. For more information, please visit https://freedomalliance.org/presents-for-patriots/.
