Freestyle Marketing Group President Named One Of Utah’s 30 Women To Watch
Salt Lake City, Utah (PRWEB) June 05, 2015 -- Imelda “Erni” Hernandez Armstrong, President and CEO of Freestyle Marketing Group, was selected as one of 30 Women to Watch by Utah Business Magazine. Armstrong was featured in the May 2015 issue of the magazine and honored at an awards luncheon held at the Grand America Hotel on May 21.
The annual award recognizes successful and influential women leaders who have shown outstanding professional achievement, community advocacy, and impact on their company, industry, and Utah’s business community.

In 2000, Armstrong founded Freestyle Marketing Group, the only woman-led, minority-owned full service advertising agency in Salt Lake City. Under her guidance, the agency has enjoyed steady growth and established a reputation for creativity and innovation in the advertising world. In 2013, she was awarded the “Outstanding Asian Business Owner” Award from the Utah Asian Chamber of Commerce.

Erni is also a passionate advocate for giving back to the community and has donated marketing services to a number of local nonprofits. She serves as a member of the board for Prevent Child Abuse Utah including a stint as Chairman of the Board from 2010-2012. She won the 2011 Leadership Award for her work with the organization. In 2012, she co-founded Philippines Humanitarian, a charitable 501(c)(3) organization that provides education resources to impoverished students and their families in the Philippines.
