Fresh Healthy Vending Announces Milestone Sale of its 2,500th Vending Machine Resulting in Aggregate Sales Exceeding $25 Million Since January 2010

(OTC: VEND) announced the sale of its 2,500th vending machine, resulting in aggregate gross revenue of more than $25 million from January 2010 through Sept., 30, 2013. To date, the company has appointed 209 franchisees and has an international presence in Puerto Rico, the Bahamas and Canada.
In addition to its franchise operations, the company also owns and manages healthy vending machines in San Diego, Calif., Salt Lake City, Utah and Las Vegas, Nev.

In November 2012, Mayor Emanuel announced new healthy vending machines to be located across all city departments. The mayor introduced an ordinance that transitions all of the vending machines in city buildings into healthy vending machines. “These new vending machines will make it easier than ever before for city employees and the public to make healthy lifestyle decisions,” said Mayor Emanuel in a press release. “When city employees take their wellness into their own hands, we can reduce health care costs and also serve as a model for the residents of Chicago when it comes to making healthy choices.”
