Fresh Proxy List Unblocks Sites at Speed
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) September 04, 2013 -- idcloak Technologies has accelerated the introduction of new public proxy servers into its free Working IP Proxy List, which this week topped 2,000 fully functioning addresses.

The proxy servers on the fresh Proxy List are of the IP address variety, meaning that, instead of accessing the proxy server via a website, the user may enter the IP and port number of the server directly into their browser or, in the case of SOCKS proxies, other programs, like Skype or Torrents. Doing so establishes a direct and continuing connection with the proxy.
“IP connection to the proxy server has major benefits for those seeking to bypass censorship restrictions,” says Welles, “as the absence of a website intermediary makes it much harder for web filters to detect a proxy is being used.”
The other popular type of free unblocker, the site-based proxy service, is more susceptible to blocks by filters because the proxy function is divulged through the site’s HTML code. For this reason, Welles says, the site-based proxy is “more of a solution for unblocking georestrictions, such as YouTube videos unavailable in a specific country.”
