FUJIFILM Australia and Alcidion Announce Strategic Partnership
Adelaide, SA (PRWEB) August 18, 2014 -- FUJIFILM Medical Systems, a division of FUJIFILM Australia, part of the FUJIFILM group of companies and a global leader in cardiovascular diagnostic and intervention software, has partnered with Alcidion Corporation, a leading provider of intelligent health informatics technology. The strategic partnership was formed to develop a leading edge intelligent Cardiovascular Information System (iCVIS) to deliver advanced decision support features to cardiovascular clinicians.
FUJIFILM identified a need in the cardiovascular market to improve cardiology care and analysis using Clinical Decision Support, with the aim of improving workflows, clinician efficiency and patient safety, and reducing workplace stress for Clinicians. Alcidion, who were identified after a search of technology providers were profiled for Clinical Decision Support capability, are excited to be partnering with FUJIFILM to develop a new product – iCVIS. Alcidion will be building iCVIS on its next generation health informatics infrastructure, the Miya Platform.
Alcidion are now working closely with FUJIFILM to develop the iCVIS product at Western Health; FUJIFILM’s luminary site for iCVIS development.
