Full Throttle Indoor Karting Hosts Racing 4 Vets Team Building Event
Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) September 17, 2014 -- Racing4Vets, a charitable organization focused on helping disabled U.S. military veterans get directly involved in motorsports, hosted a team building activity at Full Throttle Indoor Karting. The organization hosts these group events on a monthly basis at the high-speed indoor go-kart track.
Racing4Vets hosts monthly team building activities at Full Throttle Indoor Karting, a high-speed indoor go-kart track located in Cincinnati. The group events bring disabled U.S. military veterans together to compete in team endurance races in an effort to provide an opportunity for the vets to build relationships with other motorsports enthusiasts in the community.
Racing4Vets helps service disabled U.S. military veterans get directly involved in motorsports by leveraging the power of the motorsports community. Their mission is to give back to the men and women who have sacrificed for and protected our country as members of the U.S. Armed Forces, National Guard, Reserves, and Coast Guard.
The first goal of the organization is to develop motorsports career training and outreach programs for combat-injured U.S. military veterans. These programs are specifically tailored to build the skills, education and job connections each individual veteran needs to be successful in his or her pursuit of a career in motorsports.
Additionally, Racing4Vets provides opportunities for disabled veterans to compete in amateur motorsports by obtaining sponsorship, adapted racing gear, mechanical support and relationships with local organizers and racers throughout the U.S.
Headquartered in Mason, OH, the organization has partnered with Full Throttle Indoor Karting, a locally owned high-speed indoor go-kart track that specializes in group events and team building activities. The go-karts at Full Throttle reach speeds up to 40 miles per hour on the 14-corner course and provide a realistic and competitive racing environment for the veterans.
“When we were approached by Racing4Vets about hosting their events, it was a no-brainer,” said Aaron Banfield, co-owner of Full Throttle Indoor Karting. “We have a strong philosophy at Full Throttle about community outreach, so donating track time to the men and women who serve our country is the least we could do.
