Like all great “hero quest” games, Finley's Rescue is epic in scope, but easy to understand. Here’s the creative back story: while taking a stroll in the parks of the Kinoven Kingdom, a fair maiden named Carly is kidnapped by a Candy Foot Monster. To liberate Carly from her evil captor, game players must collect different kinds of candies by tapping them as they appear on the screen, and ultimately defeat the dreaded monster.
While this may sound very easy, there are some fun — and tough — challenges and risks along the way, including hordes of monsters, falling bombs and flocks of unfriendly birds. The good news is that there is some help as well, including bonuses (extra lives and extra points), power-ups (to help defeat enemies), and some of the birds are actually friendly and helpful. The game also gets increasingly more challenging.
Other delightful aspects of Finley's Rescue include vibrant graphics, smooth animation, and fun music that whisks game players away to another world full of delicious, mouth-watering candies, monsters and more.
