Furry Travelers, Inc. Featuring Pet Products at this Year’s Doggie Palooza
Plantation, FL (PRWEB) January 14, 2014 -- Furry Travelers, Inc. will be showcasing its’ fun and useful pet products for pets on-the-go at this year’s Doggie Palooza, held at Happy Tails Park in Plantation, Florida. The annual event brings together local dogs with their owners to meet other dog-lovers in the area for a fun-filled day of activities, vendors, demonstrations, and contests.

As the 11th annual Doggie Palooza at Happy Trails Park, this unique event has grown into an exciting celebration of all-things-dog and this year the expo is expected to be bigger and better than ever. The event will run from 10am to 3pm Saturday and is free for pets but will cost $1.00 per person for entry with proceeds benefiting 100+ Abandoned Dogs of Everglades Florida, a local annual rescue group. At last year’s Doggie Palooza the rescue organization found seven new owners to adopt abandoned dogs and hopes to find even more loving families ready to open up their homes to a pet in need at this year’s event.
Doggie Palooza is designed to provide canine owners with useful information and helpful resources for taking care of their pets featuring vendors that sell dog products and services from local areas in Southern Florida. Furry Travelers is thrilled to showcase many of its handy dog products at the expo, including its famous To-Go Bowl, the multi-purpose travel water bowl designed to fit into a car’s cup holder. The company’s flagship product has been featured on national television and won numerous awards, including Fido Friendly Magazine’s “Best Pet Product” award in 2010.
Aside from the expo of pet product vendors in the area, the event will also include demonstrations put on by the City of Plantation Police K-9s and the Frisbee Dog Show, as well as a Doggie Fun Zone for dogs to run through a racetrack and have their photo taken. Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed pooches, best pet-owner lookalike, and best pet tricks. The event will be held rain or shine and is sure to be the best Doggie Palooza yet as even more canines and their owners come together to enjoy the special relationship shared between dogs and their owners.
