Fusion Sport Timing System for Fan Engagement Event
CHICAGO, IL (PRWEB) January 20, 2016 -- Fusion Sport is proud to be a part of the 55th annual Proviso West Holiday Tournament. In efforts to help promote brand awareness and fitness training to the next generation of athletes, Fusion Sport provided equipment in support of the fan engagement experiences. The annual tournament features sixteen of the best high school basketball programs from the Chicagoland area, with 28 games spanning a four day period.
During the tournament, fans ventured over to the field house to participate in various activities. The 40 yard dash is the most commonly recognized drill utilizing the Fusion Sport timing system; other drills at the event were an obstacle course and a timed basketball shooting drill. Encouraging the competitive spirit, prizes will be given for the best overall times. When asked about the event, participant Ogie Davis said, "It's great competition and it was an easy enough event for anyone to participate." Prior to participating, fans were fitted with the latest shoes to complete each drill, allowing both brands to add their own individual flare to maximize the fan engagement experience.
Earlier this year, Fusion Sport timing systems also provided a unique fan experience during Chicago's very first NFL Draft Town. The events at Draft Town consisted of a vertical jump, field goal kick, and a rare 40 yard dash experience that gave fans a chance to race side by side against their favorite athletes and their peers.
