Future Media Concepts, in cooperation with Apple, will organize the 3rd edition of FCPX Creative Summit in Cupertino, CA, on October 27-29
(PRWEB) October 02, 2017 -- Future Media Concepts, in cooperation with Apple, is excited to announce the return of FCPX Creative Summit, in Cupertino, California. The post-production training event consists of three full-days of sessions and presentations (October 27-29) on the latest features of Final Cut Pro X and Motion.
The conference agenda is a perfect blend of technical step-by-step demonstrations, as well as panel discussions, keynote presentations, and case studies. Attendees will gain practical tips for organizing media to save time, explore built-in features and essential plug-ins, compression and distribution techniques, audio and color correction practices, as well as hear ‘lessons learned’ from peers and experts who will share case studies.
“A rare chance to learn from the top FCP X minds and go behind the doors at Apple”, said Jeff Greenberg, Program Manager for the conference.
The event kicks off on the morning of October 27th at AMC Cupertino, where most conference sessions will take place. This year’s keynote speaker is David Tillman, editor of Diana: In Her Own Words and The Lost Tapes series. Tillman is Peabody award-winning and Emmy-nominated producer, editor and writer who has been making films for over 20 years.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear directly from the Apple Product Team during a visit to the Apple Campus’ historic Town Hall. The Town Hall has been the site of several high profile launches for the company. It was here that Apple announced the first ever iPod, several reveals of the iPhone, the 5K iMac and iPad Air 2, among other milestones. Last year, Apple used this event to announce the new Final Cut Pro X 10.3 version.
“FCPX Creative Summit is designed for intermediate to advanced users of FCP X and Motion, who wish to maximize their creativity and efficiency to achieve high-end visual results” stated Future Media Concepts’ President and Co-founder, Ben Kozuch. “To enhance the experience, we’ve created a perfect blend of training, expo and social networking, including working closely with Apple to host a day at the Apple Campus with the FCP X Product Team.”
Attendees and trainers will have the chance to mingle during the annual Expo Night taking place on October 28th at the Juniper Hotel in Cupertino. The evening event allows for networking with peers, but also hearing from great companies that will be present to showcase software and products that can enhance editing with FCP X. Among them are: LumaForge, Frame.io, CoreMelt, and Imagine Products. Find a full list of our sponsors on the event website.
The event gathers Final Cut Pro X experts from around the world. The speaker lineup includes: Jeff Greenberg - known post-production expert, and Program Manager for the conference; Steve Martin - owner of Ripple Training, and FCP user and trainer since 1999; Mark Spencer - freelance producer, videographer, editor, and Apple Master Trainer, and more. A list of all current speakers can be found on the event website.
FCPX Creative Summit registration packages also include a lodging option. The full conference package starts at $1,095. The full pass + hotel (3 nights) starts at $1,692.
