Futurian Systems Receives Two Consumer Electronics Association Mark of Excellence Awards in 2016
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) January 20, 2016 -- Futurian Systems, a full service custom electronics integrator serving Colorado and Texas, announced today that it has won two 2016 Mark of Excellence awards at the Consumer Electronics Association’s (CEA) annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Awards include Integrated Security Project of the Year and Ultimate Home of the Year above $300,000.
The prestigious event is the largest electronics and technology show in the world, spanning four days and three venues in the heart of Las Vegas. Award submissions are judged by industry experts in categories that include security, energy management, health and wellness and home theater.
The Integrated Security Project of the Year award went to Futurian’s High Security Hemp project, a uniquely designed Colorado grow house security system. The installation required innovative design, including underground wiring and a radio tower, in order to satisfy the requirements of the state’s Marijuana Enforcement Division.
The Ultimate Home of the Year above $300,000 was awarded to their Ultimate Play House project. A somewhat strenuous installation, Futurian had to overcome tight deadlines and a continuously changing scope of work to complete it. What started out as a single media room quickly expanded to a whole home audio video and security installation.
“We’re especially proud of our work on the Ultimate Play House. We had to come up with a design proposal within a matter of hours, and even after components were installed and programmed we frequently had to start over because of changing client requests. But the results speak for themselves, and we’re very happy to receive this kind of recognition from CEA,” says owner and CEO Jeremy Beck.
This is not the first time Futurian Systems has been recognized by the organization. They took home a 2015 Mark of Excellence award for Specialty Project of the Year.
