G-CON Manufacturing, Inc. President Receives Prestigious Pharmaceutical Science Award
Bryan, TX (PRWEB) April 10, 2015 -- Maik Jornitz, President of G-CON Manufacturing Inc. has been awarded the Martin Van Trieste Pharmaceutical Science Award. This award honors a Parenteral Drug Association (PDA) member for outstanding contributions made toward the advancement of pharmaceutical science. The award was formally presented at the 2015 PDA Annual Meeting held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“I am extremely honored to receive the award, named after a person I highly respect for his extraordinary contributions to the industry,” said Maik Jornitz, President of G-CON Manufacturing Inc. “Being a recipient of a PDA award, with its over 10,000 members is a humbling experience. I am very grateful to be selected by my peers in the industry.”
The award has been previously bestowed on two other expert contributors of the pharmaceutical industry, Irving Pflug and John Shabushnig.
Jornitz received a Masters of Engineering in Bioengineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg, Germany and successfully completed the PED program at IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland.
