Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) October 29, 2015 -- Galavantier, an online Las Vegas travel company specializing in curating one-of-a-kind travel experiences, releases an infographic showcasing the world’s Top 100 DJs of 2015 (based on DJ Mag’s recently released annual list) and where they can be found performing live in major U.S. cities.
The infographic sources information from DJ Mag’s 2015 Top 100 DJs list, as well as their 2015 Top 100 Clubs, both of which were released this year.
“The EDM scene in Las Vegas is simply electrifying, it has brought our city to the forefront of live entertainment. Year after year, partygoers from all over the world are choosing Sin City as their destination of choice for nightlife and daylife revelry,” said Marko Greisen, CEO of Galavantier. “Rockstar DJs have made Vegas their home away from home, and that is unlikely to change. However, Galavantier acknowledges that other great American cities are fostering unique nightlife experiences as well. That is why we’re proud to bring our customers the ability to easily book and build their own epic nightlife experiences in these burgeoning EDM hubs as well.”
32 DJs from the list alone are slated to perform in Las Vegas before the year ends, and 56 in total headlined along The Strip in 2015 – clearly making Sin City the city of choice for EDM artists and fans alike in the U.S. Compared to the 64 Top 100 DJs performing in Las Vegas in 2014, this figure falls a bit short, which can undoubtedly be attributed to the slew of Hip-Hop and Top 40's/Pop talent being incorporated into the lineup mix by major venues such as Drai's and Foxtail.
The infographic also highlights the top five highest paid DJs of 2015 according to Forbes and their relative ranking on the Top 100 DJs list. Top earning Calvin Harris, came in at #11. The remaining top five “electronic cash kings” David Guetta, Tiësto, Skrillex, & Steve Aoki all ranked in the top 10, but Belgian/Greek duo Dmitri Vegas & Like Mike earned the #1 spot.
XS Nightclub, Surrender, Marquee, Hakkasan, and Omnia comprise the majority the nightlife hot spots in Las Vegas where these acclaimed DJs can be seen performing live for the remainder of 2015. Other cities with noteworthy EDM scenes that are drawing these household names into their nightclubs include Los Angeles, New York, and Miami. Up-and-comers such as San Diego, San Francisco, and Scottsdale are blooming nicely, with each city hosting some of this year’s Top 100 DJ’s.
