Galaxy Press Announces Stories from the Golden Age Now Available on the Apple App Store
Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) July 26, 2013 -- In keeping with its initial objective to make the fiction works of L. Ron Hubbard available in all formats, it was announced by Galaxy Press president John Goodwin that 20 of Hubbard’s stories would now be available in the Apple App store.
Stories from the Golden Age have been a continuous good selling line of books. And most recently at the Comic Con in San Diego, one title in particular, Dead Men Kill—the only zombie story written by Hubbard—was one of the strongest sellers. “The Comic Con response coupled with the success of World War Z makes it very timely that we have now made Dead Men Kill available in the iBook Store,” continued Goodwin.

Notable authors as H. Bedford-Jones, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammett are also experiencing similar appreciation. Sales continue to increase as readers discover that many of their favorite characters, such as Luke Skywalker, Indiana Jones, Superman and Spiderman, have their roots in such perennially popular characters as Doc Savage, The Spider and The Shadow.
Stories from the Golden Age contain 153 stories written by Hubbard that are being published in 80 volumes, in a wide spectrum of genres, including adventure, western, mystery, detective, fantasy, science fiction and even some romance, using his own and 15 pen names.
