Kellis’ defense is led by LB Nicholas Bejarano. Mesquite (2-3) is coming off a disappointing loss to Desert Edge. If there is a must win game, this is it for Mesquite. New Omaha Central head coach Lance Griffin will look to get his young and revamped Eagles on the right track. Leading Central tacklers Deshawn Dial and Tre Williams will hope to keep Kohls off the pace that saw him score 9 touchdowns in the first three games of the season.
Cleveland vs. Harrah (Oklahoma)
When: Friday, September 22nd - 7pm CST

Overview: The Cleveland Tigers (2-2) open district play Friday against the Harrah Panthers (0-3). Harrah (0-3) after a tough Non-District schedule. Coached by Phil Webb, the Panthers are led offensively by Sophomore QB Jeffrey Roberson. Roberson is a physical QB that utilizes his size and speed, keying on the run. Injuries have been a huge factor for the Panthers, losing both tailbacks to injury during Week two against Seminole. Sophomore tailback, Gage Payne, is expected to play on Friday. The defense has been the anchor for the Panthers this season. Overview: This should be a great game of contrasting styles. Clark wants a track meet while Sierra Vista is content to pound it on the ground. After a 1-8 record a year ago, Clark hired Ricky Pickens as their head coach. After a one point loss in their opener to Boulder City, the Chargers have won 2 in a row. Clark is led by RB Aquantay Morris. He can run and catch it out of the backfield. DB Isaiah Veal leads a ball hawking Clark defense. At Sierra Vista, Head Coach John Foss relies on a punishing ground game that is averaging over 250 yards rushing per game. The Mountain Lions have several backs to tote the rock including Bryan Lagrange and Isaiah Zavala. Defensively, Sierra Vista is led by DB Kevin McCray, a safety with college potential has three interceptions on the season.
