Gaming Legend Bruce Shelley Joins Shenandoah Studio's Board of Advisors
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) October 07, 2013 -- Shenandoah Studio is honored to officially welcome game industry legend Bruce Shelley to our Board of Advisors.
Impressed by Battle of the Bulge and our commitment to strategy gaming, Bruce Shelley is excited to join the Shenandoah Studio team. He brings with him a wealth of experience in this genre and a strong background with CEO Eric Lee Smith.
"I find it cool that they are focused on the iPad, especially as a platform for games. I love that they are bringing strategy games to the platform, which were my first interest and the reason why I got into games - it's a genre eager for growth." - Bruce Shelley
Prominent in the strategy game industry since 1980, Bruce Shelley has over 30 years of experience. Beginning as the co-founder of Iron Crown Enterprises, he went on to work for Simulations Publications, Inc. (SPI), then Avalon Hill. In early 1988, he joined MicroProse where he worked with Sid Meier on several games including Railroad Tycoon and Civilization. He went on to help found Ensemble Studios, creators of Age of Empires, Halo Wars, and more. Currently, Bruce is a freelance game development consultant.
