Ganjapreneur Publishes Editorial Recap of Journey to HIGH TIMES Cannabis Cup
Denver, CO (PRWEB) May 20, 2015 -- On the one month anniversary of their trip to the HIGH TIMES Cannabis Cup in Denver, the people behind cannabis industry news outlet Ganjapreneur.com have published an editorial recap of their experience. In the article, Noel Abbott -- Ganjapreneur's CTO -- recounts their entire journey beginning with a harrowing flight into the Denver International Airport, as it had snowed in Denver the night before their arrival and there were high winds during their approach.
When they arrived at the event, "The parking lot was full of thousands of people, and an overwhelming sense of positive energy and anticipation was evident as soon as we got out of the car." Abbott also recounts how the group spontaneously met and interviewed NORML founder Keith Stroup within the first thirty minutes of walking in the front door, which "set the tone for the rest of our trip."
The article describes how the vendors' area itself was an indicator of how well the cannabis industry as a whole was doing economically. "There were extraction system manufacturers, payment processing services, cleaning systems, construction specialists, grow light manufacturers, and countless other business services represented among the vendors. It was easy to see that the industry was booming: not only were these business services present, but the displays were extravagant and the representatives were experts in their fields. This was a marketplace," Abbott writes, "and the market was decidedly competitive."
Ultimately the experience left Ganjapreneur's representatives feeling "very optimistic" about the future of the legal cannabis industry. "With over 50,000 in attendance from all demographics, regions, and walks of life, the one constant was the respect they shared for one another-–respect based on the mutual understanding that prohibition must end."
