Ganley Honda Announces the Arrival of the New 2016 Honda Accord, Featuring Enhanced Safety Updates, New Digital Experiences and Sophisticated Body Styling
North Olmsted, OH (PRWEB) September 17, 2015 -- Ganley Honda is proud to announce the addition of the updated 2016 Honda Accord Sedan and Honda Accord Coupe to its large selection of new and certified pre-owned vehicles. The new models are now available for test drive and offer enhanced safety features, new technological applications and stylish body upgrades.
For comprehensive safety and driver-assistive elements, both Accord models feature the Honda Sensing ™ package, which includes lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control and a collision-mitigation braking system. These vehicles are the first Honda models to incorporate Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, which are perfect for tech-savvy drivers. The programs are controlled through a seven-inch Display Audio touchscreen. Drivers or passengers can sync their smartphones for navigation or for voice-controlled SMS text messaging. Other technological upgrades include an enhanced HD Radio and front and rear parking sensors.
"The 2016 Honda Accord combines the reliability of the Honda brand with luxurious technology and comfort," said Ron Hazelton, General Manager of Ganley Honda.
While all 2016 Accords feature a multi-angle rearview camera and an expanded view driver’s mirror, the Touring sedan and coupe models offer, for the first time, headlights that default to the high-beam setting and automatically switch to the low-beam setting when oncoming traffic is detected. Other features on the revamped Accords include 19-inch alloy wheels, heated rear seats, LED daytime running lights, taillights and fog lights, restyled front and rear bumpers, an upgraded power steering system and carryover powertrains. To match these dynamic performance updates, new colors, including Kona Coffee Metallic for the Sedan and Deep Blue Opal Metallic for the Coupe, and sophisticated fabric and trims are also available. Combined with other body and chassis enhancements, the 2016 Accord has a sporty yet sophisticated design.
The Sedan's highway EPA fuel economy rating has climbed to 37 mpg, due to the redesigned aluminum hood and other aerodynamic elements. An Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure helped the 2016 Accord win a 5-star crash safety rating, the highest available from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Notably, the 2016 Honda Accord's MSRP is unchanged from the 2015 model. The Sedan starts at $22,105, and the Coupe starts at $23,775.
The Honda Accord, the top-selling car in the United States to buyers under age 35, has been named to Car and Driver magazine's "10 Best" list 29 times.
