Garden Acupuncture is Excited to Welcome Dr. Jeffrey Winsauer to the Family
(PRWEB) January 30, 2016 -- Garden Acupuncture would like to welcome Dr. Jeffrey Winsauer PhD, OMD, Lc.A. to the growing Garden Acupuncture family.
Dr. Winsauer has had over 20 years of experience in many aspects of Traditional Chinese Medicine. After living in Japan for 10 years, he began his Traditional Chinese Medical education in China, where he was one of the first Americans to be mentored under world famous acupuncturist Professor Emeritus Jin Rui. He was also one of few to earn a PhD with a specialty in acupuncture in the Mandarin language at Guangzhou TCM University. His training also comprises of tutelage under the late Grand Master Xia Shuang-Quan in Qigong, and he applies the methods and skills he learned via external Qi emission and internal Qi manipulation healing.
Some of Dr. Winsauer's work includes having pioneered acupuncture at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, as their first licensed acupuncturist. He even re-entered China to create a collaborative partnership between Mayo Clinic's Integrative Medicine Department and Sun Yat-sen's Zhongshan Medical School. During his involvement there, he was appointed as a guest medical professor at Sun Yat-sen University and studied intensively all aspects of the TCM materia medica.
Dr. Winsauer completed a one-year residency in GYN and infertility at Shenzhen TCM hospital. He became familiar with the conventional aspects of gynecological medicine, in observing surgeons as they operated, assisting in D&Cs, providing routine examinations such as pelvic exams and ultrasounds, as well as in performing testing procedures such as pap smears. Such training allows him expert-level comprehensive TCM management of infertility and gynecology. Using his mastery in acupuncture and herbs, Dr. Winsauer is able to provide multi-layered treatment of all forms of Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID). Women who have had prior miscarriages or require nurturing for threatened miscarriages are able to carry to full term with Dr. Winsauer's care. He is further able to treat a wide scope of female concerns, including and not limited to: endometriosis, adenomyosis, polyps, PCOS, fibroids, post-partum lochiorrhea, involution of the uterus, mid-cycle spotting, menometrorrhagia, poly/oligomenorrhea, and PMS.
