FULL COLOR, HIGH RESOLUTION SCREEN
The 220 has a full color, high resolution screen that is 108px, so it is significantly higher resolution than previous versions. "Especially for people that need reading glasses this makes a big difference," says Squire.
WATER RESISTANT TO 50 METERS
Previous Garmin GPS running watches were IPX7 which is a fancy way of saying you shouldn't swim with it. "No such worries with the new Garmin 220 as it is water tight to 50 meters," says Squire.
