Joining him on tour is his wife, Yearwood. Yearwood is a popular country performer in her own right. She entered the music business in 1989 and has sold more than 12.5 million records during her career. She has won three Grammy Awards, two Academy of Country Music Awards, one American Music Award, and three Country Music Association Awards. Most recently, fans will have seen her on her cooking series on the Food Network, which she received an Emmy Award for.
Joe Louis Arena is also known as “The Joe” and it is the home of the Detroit Red Wings from the NHL. It was built back in 1979 and it is named after the famous boxer, Joe Louis, who hails from Detroit.
