GAT Sport Announces Signing of IFBB Bikini Pro Janet Layug

Janet is a celebrated American Fitness model and Social Media Personality who is best known as a winner of IFBB Pro Bikini titles, today joins the impressive line-up of world-class athletes at TEAMGAT.

Janet is a Polish-Filipino Bikini professional from Lakeland, Florida where she resides with her daughter Briley Sage. Janet has gained huge fame from her fitness related videos and photos, which she posts on her Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts. Janet was born on 29 December, 1988 in Florida, USA. She is a graduate from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in nursing and is a registered nurse.

In 2013, she officially started participating in bikini competitions winning the 2013 Flex Magazine Model Search. She was named Miss Hooters International in 2014 and in only her second IFBB bikini competition she won her IFBB Pro card at the NPC National Bikini Championships (Lakeland, FL). She quickly became one of the best bikini competitors in the world winning 4 Pro tournaments in just 2 years. Her wins included the prestigious Arnold Classic Australia, New Zealand IFBB Pro, Prague IFBB Pro and the Asian Grand Prix. She finished 2nd in the 2014 and 2015 Bikini at Olympia.
Janet will be competing in Bikini again at the Olympia in Las Vegas this September 15-18. She will be joined by two other TEAMGAT Athletes, Sadik Hadzovic, who will be competing in the new Classic Physique division and Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay in the Men’s Open Bodybuilding.
